Proud to be me an Umbraco MVP
Every year the Codegarden festival takes place in Denmark, celebrating our favourite CMS, Umbraco. Even though I couldn't make it this year I was very proud to find out from the "Chief Unicorn" himself, Neils Hartvig, that I'd been awarded the prestigious Umbraco MVP award ("Most Valued Person").
I really couldn't believe it, since there are so many outstanding people who work with Umbraco, but I was greatly honoured. Whilst I couldn't make it to Odense to pick up my award, it was shipped over to me by the lovely Martin Wülser Larsen of Umbraco HQ, to whom I'm very grateful. Not only did I get a spiffing trophy, which proudly sits on my desk, I got another Umbraco t-shirt to add to my collection and some of the trendy new purple stickers! So #h5yr to everyone involved and a big thanks - you really made me feel proud of the Umbraco community.
And here she is, the lovely trophy...
